Domiciliary Care

It is the place where you feel most relaxed and happy. Many people in need of care prefer to stay in familiar environments close to family and friends whilst at the same time retaining their independence.
Domiciliary care is designed to support you to continue to live at home with the help you need. We aim to ensure you regain or maintain your wellness and independence.
At Companion For Care, we provide specialist domiciliary care for all depending on service users’ needs. Your needs will determine which of our skilled and experienced staff will work with you, to fulfill your needs and preferences.

Complex Needs Care
Living with a long-term condition and suffering from a lack of independence can be extremely challenging.
Companion For Care is able to supply a wide range of Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers with specific skills, tailored to your complex care requirements, supporting you to remain living in your own home or other care settings.

Supported Living
When faced with illness or immobility, it can be a struggle to carry out everyday activities that you may have once performed with ease.
At Companion For Care, we provide support around the home including cleaning, doing laundry, grocery shopping, and preparing meals.
We also aid you with personal care such as dressing and undressing, washing, continence care, and support with medication.
Our Carers are carefully selected to match your personality and requirements. Over and above aiding you they will provide great company and conversation.
Your service will be tailored to your unique requirements and can be adapted to meet your changing needs.
Healthcare Assistants & Support Staff
Access to the right staff is key to ensuring continuity of healthcare.
In accordance with Care Quality Commission Standards and our own in-house policies, our expert team will, where appropriate, carry out a risk assessment in order to guarantee that we employ best practices in the recruitment and deployment of our staff.
Our care and support workers are thoroughly trained in the interpersonal skills necessary to provide effective support.
Patient Transport
At Companion For Care, we provide Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS) for people who need to travel to or from the hospital or a medical appointment but are unable to travel without specialist support.
We also offer transportation for mental health patients and for people with medical needs that don’t require an emergency or urgent response. For example, if you struggle to walk or need extra support during your journey due to a medical condition.
In a medical emergency, you should call 999. And, if you have an urgent medical problem and you are not sure what to do, call 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk.
Companion for Care Transport service is a family-run company aimed at delivering high-quality, safe, effective non-emergency ambulance transportation for patients to and from a healthcare facility.
